PZU TZ "THE SENIOR GAMES 2015"

The Senior Games 2015 in Gorlice will start at 10.00am on PZU Trasy (PZU Pathway) http://pzutrasyzdrowia.pl/trasa ,the sport area that has been recently built for the local community by the Polish Insurance Company PZU. The sport development officer with many sport volunteers have prepared some activities for penioners and local people over 60+ .The Nording Walking Race (4km long) starts at the PZU's Pathway and leads to the Skansen "Magdalena", http://skansenmagdalena.cba.pl/ . The race will be held separately for men and women. The volunteers "SportMakers", will be assisting all the way. The opening ceremony of the Senior Games 2015 will be conducted by the mayor of Gorlice and other officials. After that, all senior "athletes" will take part in many different games aimed particularly for senior participants. There will be many to choose from: speedminton, football, basketball, grass ring, grass volleyball, stone lifting, darts. As an additional attraction all participants will take part in Zumba Class held by a professional Zumba trainer. After the medal ceremony all participants with their families will take part in the integration party with live music and BBQ. We want to encourage seniors to practice sport in their everyday life and turn The Sport Games into yearly event.
