With two weeks to go until MOVE Week 2017, Italy is at the top of the MOVE Week registration page with 121 different events. Running, stair-climbing, dancing, horse riding, and basketball tournaments are only a few of the listed activities that will take place between 29 May – 4 June.

This year, MOVE Week will mobilise the whole country and more than fifty cities will join the movement. Sara Ceci from UISP (. Various events will promote bicycle use, walking, choosing the stairs instead of the elevators, and in-office gyms.

Outside the office buildings, everyone is invited to participate in big sport events, i.e. in public marathons and night walks. UISP Territorial Committees will organise many events in city main squares that will involve both the citizens as well as the athletes, Ceci added.

Active MOVE Agents in Czech Republic and Slovakia

Czech Republic and Slovakia are the other two countries where more than 40 events have been registered in each country. In Czech Republic, the centre of activation will be in Prague, whereas the title for the most active city in Slovakia looks like it will go to Košice.
