MOVE Week Poland 2024 - a nationwide event
The MOVE Week 2024 in Poland focuses mainly on preschool and early school-age children (grades 1-3), encouraging physical activity through fun and engaging activities. This year's MOVE Week will place a special emphasis on including children with disabilities, making our initiative more inclusive than ever.
Participants will have access to the Active Breaks Plan throughout the week. In collaboration with the Krokiet and Lama Academy, we will offer a public YouTube playlist featuring ready-to-use short video materials, including tailored materials for children with various disabilities, making it accessible to all. These videos can be used for brain breaks or morning warm-ups, allowing teachers to introduce more physical activity in classrooms easily.
Project participation mechanism
1. Registration: schools, kindergartens, or selected groups can register through a short online application form.
2. Utilization: use the provided videos from the Active Breaks Plan and report participation on social media with the hashtags #MOVEWeek and #MOVEWeekPoland2024.
3. Reporting: fill out a short online report to receive a certificate for the institution and the children.
MOVE Week 2024 in Poland aims to create a fun, inclusive, and accessible environment that encourages young children to stay active and enjoy the benefits of physical fitness.
The project in 2024 is co-funded by the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled and European Union. The event is organized by the V4Sport Foundation in cooperation with Stowarzyszenie Jesteśmy dla WAS. The initiative is part of the "Creating Future Together" project.
